The shape of a geodesic dome makes it almost impervious to very strong winds if built with the correct materials and anchored solidly to the ground. Three brothers perfected the aerodynamic shape of their dwelling after a long trial and error period. Here is an archive picture of the initial testing phase in an enchanted forest.
