Tagaki T-KD20 uses a “Direct Vent System”. With a three-inch round combustible air intake vent and four-inch round exhaust power vent, Flash T-KD20 is designed to work when indoor combustion air is not available – making it the perfect system for climate controlled environments such as colder areas. This system is called a “sealed combustion” system and is required in Minnesota.

Because we have well water coming in at a cold 45°, we put in 2 units. One to supply the hot water for the 2½ baths and a separate unit for the laundry/kitchen.
